Hello, I have been reading your reports on how to buy books without shopping at Amazon and feel strongly that Amazon are aiming for a monopoly in the book selling world which will actually leave book buyers with less choice if this ever comes about.

You mention secondhand bookshops as a good alternative and I wondered if you knew about The Book Guide which lists all the secondhand bookshops, book fairs and auctions in the country. It is a wonderful resource and a good way of supporting secondhand bookshops on the high street. http://www.inprint.co.uk/thebookguide/index.php

Thanks Sarah. I will pass that on to our researchers who created the bookshops report.

We are just about to contact bookshops about the report so this will be a handy tool.
