We are launching our essay prize at the Mainstreaming Co-operation Conference in Manchester on July 5th.

The essay is particularly designed to get people thinking about how a growth in co-operatives can help address the current unsustainable conumption model this is driven by profit maximising behaviour.

The 'what one thing' website will be launched on July 16th when the technology for voting up ideas is fully tested.

We have already had one comment suggesting that it should be 'what few things' - because there's bound to be more than one. This is true, but will take a while to fix as the name is mow embedded into the design and navigation of the site. Perhaps after launch?
