Short film about forest gardening

Permaculture magazine has produced Living With The Land, nine short films, free to view and distribute.

The first one is about Forest Gardening. Martin Crawford, pioneering forest gardener, introduces us to his beautiful Forest Garden full of food, fibres and medicinal plants in South Devon.

The other 8 will cover:

  • Natural building
  • Urban community gardening, including Permablitz
  • Low-carbon regenerative farming with Rebbeca Hosking
  • Vegan, stock free farming with Iain Tolhurst
  • No dig gardening with Charles Dowding
  • Foraging with Fergus Drennan
  • Education in nature
  • Off-grid DIY

Each film is introduced by well known communicators. Kevin McCloud of Channel 4’s Grand Designs introduces us to the world of natural building, whilst Bruce Parry of the BBC documentary Tribe introduces us to the delights of foraging.

The films are being released to coincide with the build-up to the 12th International Permaculture Convergence in London (8 - 9 September).

“The films showcase the people and projects that are practising real, working alternatives to the ecological unsound and principally unsustainable practices of conventional agriculture and mainstream housing in the UK” Permaculture say.

View all nine films as they become available.
