Responsible soy called into question

A SEED Europe and Corporate Europe Observatory have launched a new video to raise awareness about the perceived problems with the forthcoming label for ‘responsible’ soy.

The video highlights the use of toxic chemicals in the production of soy that is set to receive the new label from the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS). It also points out that despite WWF's support for the label, much of the soy is genetically engineered (GE), running counter to the WWF's official line that they are opposed to GE groups.
