Good Energy makes Sunday Times Green List while rival Ecotricity is on Rich List

Good Energy was rated one of the best green companies in Britain after it was ranked 56th in the Sunday Times Green List 2009.

Ecotricity founder Dale Vince appeared on the Sunday Times Rich List 2009 in joint 657th place with an estimated fortune worth £85 million. Ecotricity did not feature in the Green List 2009.

Good Energy was rated 56th and was placed third in the UK in a survey of workplace opinion, which makes up 30% of the overall ranking.

The Sunday Times Green List takes account of the views of employees - who get to rate their organisation’s green credentials - as well as assessing the environmental performance, policies and practices of businesses.

Good Energy were the best buy in our [BROKEN LINK] Green Electricity buyers' guide with 15.5 points followed by Ecotricity with 13.5.
