In February 2018 Ethical Consumer received a questionnaire from the Conscious Consumer (Mamoq). Regarding its supply chain management policy it stated "As an online marketplace, we act as an intermediary between brands and customers. Thus we do not have a physical supply chain to manage. However, the majority of brands we work with operate of a fully traceable and transparent supply chain. We hope to reach 100% full traceability with all brands we work with shortly."
It stated that in order for companies to get listed on its website they needed to statify three of the following criteria: artisan crfat, cycled, eco conscious, economic empowerment; gives back; handmade; made in Europe; natural materials; organic; 3rd party certified; transparant; and vegan.
While Mamoq was making a positive effect to source products which contained "ethical" credentials it did not appear to have a process in place to monitor workers' right throughout its suppliers supply chains. The company offered some products certified by Fairtrade however at the time of writing this was only applicable to a few products.
It received Ethical Consumer's middle rating for Supply Chain Management due to the fact it was a small company and considered to have demonstrated a preference for suppliers with a "ethical" credentials.

In February 2018 Ethical Consumer received a questionnaire from the Conscious Consumer (Mamoq) which stated "We do not have a specific policy, however the vast majority of cotton advertised on mamoq is certified organic."
The company was an online market place for "ethical and sustainable" clothing brands. In order to be listed on Mamoq's website brands must have made a commitment to ethical and sustainable production and matched at least three of Mamoq's 12 values: artisan craft; cycled; eco conscious; economic empowerment; gives back; handmade; made in Europe; natural materials; organic; 3rd party certification; transparant; and vegan.
In its questionnaire to Ethical Consumer it highlighted the brands which used organic certified cotton. However there were some brands on its website not using certified organic cotton. Due to the fact Mamoq did not manufacturer its own clothing brand it was not marked down for its cotton sourcing policy. However Ethical Consumer would expect the company to ensure that the cotton used in brands listed on its website used sustainable cotton. Mamoq responded "We ensure that all cotton is ethical either by being organic, upcycled or end of roll. However, some cotton is not organic but still ethical as it is grown without chemicals, workers are paid fairly, etc. the company may just not have applied for certification due to costs, etc."
