In March 2020 Ethical Consumer viewed the Baylis & Harding website for details of its animal testing policy. It stated that it was cruelty-free certified by PETA.

As it did not mention a fixed cut off date (and PETA does not require a fixed cut off date) it received a middle rating for its animal testing policy and lost half a mark in the Animal Testing category.
