Research & Consultancy
We undertake research and consultancy for campaign groups and ethically-minded organisations. Clients include Amnesty International, Christian Aid, the Co-operative Bank and International Consumer Research & Testing.

A unique online service for researching the social, ethical and environmental records of over 50,000 companies worldwide. Corporate Critic provides access to our full database, a unique resource of twenty years research, continually updated.
Campaigns
We conduct campaigns on what we see as the key issues, such as the Tobin Tax.
Who We Are
Founded in 1989 and based in Hulme, Manchester, UK.
We are an independent, not-for-profit, multi-stakeholder co-operative with open membership.
Our income comes entirely from:
- reader subscriptions (50%),
- consultancy work for campaign groups and ethical organisations (30%),
- adverts from ethically vetted companies, grants and other income (20%).
