How ethical is Teva Pharmaceuticals?

In the UK, Teva primarily supplies prescription-only, generic medicines to the NHS rather than over-the-counter wellness supplements. However, they do manufacture calcium and vitamin D combinations like Evacal D3. It is also the manufacturer of well-known over-the-counter medicines such as Sudocrem and Infacol.

We have included them in this guide because we wanted to highlight the boycott of them. Teva Pharmaceuticals is the largest company in Israel and is a priority boycott target of the BDS National Committee.

You can ask your doctor and your pharmacist to not give you Teva medicines. They can mark you down as a No-Teva customer on your file. Most of the medicines it makes are made by other companies too.

You can also ask your pharmacy to become a No-Teva or Teva-Last pharmacy.

You may also want to avoid Sudocrem and Infacol.
