It’s Fashion Revolution Week 2019

From the 22nd to 28th April, campaigning organisation Fashion Revolution will be encouraging consumers to ask #whomademyclothes. Use the hashtag on social media or you can use an email template provided by Fashion Revolution on their website.

The campaign is to demand “a fashion industry that conserves and restores our environment and gives people, especially women, a voice. An industry where dignity in work is the standard and not an exception.”

During the week Fashion Revolution will also reveal the findings of The Fashion Transparency Index 2019. The index “reviews and ranks 200 of the biggest global fashion and apparel brands and retailers according to their level of supply chain transparency”. We'll be publishing the results of this on our website.

Fashion Revolution was started in response to the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh which killed over a thousand garment workers, and it runs Fashion Revolution Week on the anniversary of the disaster each year.
