Green People was founded in 1997 and is something of a pioneer in the world of organic cosmetics. The founder, Charlotte, played an important role in helping create organic regulations for health and beauty products, which didn’t exist when the company was founded. Green People was one of the first companies to have its products certified as organic when the Soil Association launched its cosmetics standard in 2002.
